Hi,
does anyone now the shutter time for 1,9,18,24 and 36 fps of the BAUER C8 MACRO camera?

The Nizo is about 1/40th of a second at 24fps.
As for the Bauer, if you can tell us the shutter angle there is a formula for finding the speed of exposure for any fps.

May I jump on board?
How about a Nizo with a 200 degree shutter at 18 fps?
Thanks...

dan, you don't need a formula, just common sense and some basic knowledge of what a shutter is. you'll learn more by figuring it out yourself, so instead of giving the answer, here we go:
the shutter is a disc, with a pie section cut out (or two, but never mind that for the moment), spinning in front of the gate, exposing the film. the angle of that section is the shutter angle. i guess everybody knows that a full circle is 360 degrees, but i'll mention it anyway so that no necessary piece of information is left out. now, anyone who's passed sixth grade math or so should be able to figure out the shutter speed at any rate for a given angle. start by figuring out how long each frame "lasts" at your frame rate, and then which percentage of that time it's exposed to light. have fun.

Thought this reference table for the Shutter Angle/Speed that covers it all from Super 8 to PRO 16/35 mm Cam gear might be of interest:

Here is another one on the same subject for some S8 Cams only: http://www.jl-site.com/Super8/ShuterSpeed.html

OK, I got the lesson plan.
200/360 degrees equals 0.5555 percent open shutter.
1/18fps = 0.05555 seconds per shutter revolution.
0.5555 percent times 0.05555 seconds equals 0.0309 seconds open shutter per frame.
1/0.0309 equals 1/32 second shutter speed.
NEAT! My best (brightest) exposure is about 1/30 second at f1.4. Now I can use my Gossen meter until the camera arrives from Germany. I guess the reflex viewer will cost about 1/2 stop, so I'll plan on 1/30 second at f1.8 (say f2 to be sure).
Thank you!
